James has held many positions at J&J Air Conditioning. He began his career as an apprentice Service Technician and worked his way to Journeyman level in 3 years. James later became J&J Air Conditioning’s first HVAC Controls Specialist. He served as the company’s Service Manager for 3 years prior to President and General Manager.

Prior to beginning his career at J&J Air Conditioning, James completed training at San Jose City College and a Facilities Maintenance Internship at NASA/Ames Research Center. He has completed training in Johnson Controls Metasys DX9100, NAE, N30, and FEC engineering, as well as Carrier i-Vu and Reliable Controls classes. James is factory trained in Carrier and Trane Boxcar systems, as well as being factory certified for Yaskawa and Toshiba Variable Frequency Drives.

James is a member of BOMA where he serves as an RPA instructor in addition to holding seminars yearly. He is a member of ACCA and the USGBC as well as an Executive Board member of The Unified Group.
